Four Seasons at Sandy Lane Summer Summer finally arrives. Almost overnight the budding trees explode into a green canopy that covers and shades the acres of woods and trails. The understory growth, transforms into a lush thicket, impassable but for the trails cut during the winter months. And the visitors begin to arrive.... |

A little old time fun... A club member's "project" is visiting the club this season, and we couldn't resist the opportunity to shoot a few "vintage" photos...Sandy Lane's been around for over fifty years, but who knows, maybe before that, these catalpa groves were drawing a few folks looking for a secluded picnic.... |

Catalpa Blooms... Early summer also brings the fragrance and white blossoms of the catalpa groves in bloom, a short lived phenomenom, but a sure sign that the sunning season is here.... |
